In it «Year of a family», diverse citations of President RUz of I.A.Karimova about families, articles and the recommendations devoted to a family are consecrated a government program. Given by multimedia it is recommended all IBC, IRC, etc. area libraries.

On April, 9th in Samarkand IBC of A.S.Pushkin has passed a seminar on a theme «Management and marketing». The seminar was spent by the head of department of information technology Amirov Ravshan. At a seminar 40 workers – librarians have taken part.

On March, 25th, 2012 library employees passing qualification at the Samarkand institute of improvement, have visited the Samarkand information-library centre of A.S.Pushkin. They have familiarised with works of departments and their divisions, have seized knowledge of the software "KaDaTa". The necessary information have written down on CDs-disks and on flash cards. The practical training proceeded 20 days. Similar action is planned to be spent in a current of year.
